Shake Shack x LING LONG: Burgers with a Contemporary Chinese Twist!

If you’re a fan of mouth-watering collaborations, then buckle up because Shake Shack has whipped up a little something extra special for its fifth anniversary in mainland China.

Originally a humble hot dog cart in the heart of NYC, Shake Shack has grown into a global phenomenon known for its delicious burgers and shakes. As a nod to its fine dining roots, Shake Shack has previously collaborated with some of the most influential chefs in the world, including:

  • Danny Yip, The Chairman (Hong Kong)

  • Zaiyu Hasegawa, Den (Tokyo)

  • David Chang, Momofuku (New York)

  • Kang Mingoo, Mingles (Seoul)

  • Dominique Ansel (New York).

Now, Shake Shack has teamed up with the brilliant Chef Jason Liu from Michelin-starred LING LONG for their first-ever chef collab in mainland China.

Chef Jason, a trailblazer in refined Chinese cuisine, has earned Michelin stars for LING LONG in both Beijing and Shanghai, with the Shanghai location snagging the 36th spot on the “Asia’s 50 2024 Best Restaurants" list.

This exciting partnership fuses together Shake Shack’s beloved classics with Chef Jason's innovative Chinese flavours, celebrating local ingredients in a deliciously unique way.

The Limited-Edition Set: Where East Meets West

LING LONG Shack

Imagine Shake Shack’s signature grass-fed Angus beef patty enhanced with the umami of a 14-hour stewed Fujian oyster sauce. This smoked cheeseburger is further adorned with five-spice powder, XO sauce, roselle-infused radish slices, crispy fried shallots, fresh mizuna, and a dollop of house-made mayo. A true fusion delight that promises a burst of flavours with every bite, with a unique flavour combination  – and just the right amount of spice – that keeps you coming back for more.

LING LONG Oolong Shake

Blending Shake Shack’s creamy frozen vanilla custard with charcoal-roasted oolong tea from Anxi, topped with a dusting of lightly-roasted oolong tea powder, this shake offers a smoky, earthy experience that complements the bold flavours of the burger. Truly moreish! Very much an upscale milk tea with 2x the flavour!
